Sartoclear® P Depth filter Sheets are made for use in standard filter presses. The cellulose structure forms a 3-dimensional matrix which serves high dirt holding capacities and is there for ideally for applications like precipitate removal. The added filters aids like diatomaceous earth and resin binder additionally bind contaminants like host cell proteins, colloids and DNA. The use of small scale Sartoclear® P Caps is recommended to screen for the most optimal filter grade per application. Sartoclear® P Depth Filter sheets are available in standard 40 x 40 cm and 60 x 60 cm sizes in 6 different filtration grades. Other filter types and sizes are available on request. Sartoclear® P products are also used for applications like growth medium purification, separation of cryo-precipitants and the removal of particles and lipids from serum and plasma applications.

Sartoclear® Depth filter products are validated according to the USP Quality standards for WFI. Detailed information on test methods and specifications can be found in the corresponding validation guide.
 

Biosafety
All materials of this filter element meet the requirements of USP 26 Biological Reactivity tests <88> for plastics Class VI, (Systemic Injection, Intracutaneous and Implantation tests).
